The dating world is competitive and the average woman goes on a whole load of first dates. So, how do you stand out from the crowd? I mean, you are just as great, if not better than all the other guys!
Luckily there are some ways you can make sure you stand out from the crowd. These techniques will make sure that in a room full of men, with only one lady available, you still stand out.

Take her on unique dates
I couldn’t count the number of times a guy has taken me on a date to a coffee shop. I mean I like coffee, so it’s nice. But it’s not different or unique. It makes me feel as if they did not put much thought into our date and unless there was a crazy spark between us. After the first date, I don’t think about them again.
If you think outside the coffee shop shaped box guys and get a little more creative, it can help a girl remember the date. It also makes her think, “wow he put so much effort into this, he must really like me”. Basically, it puts you 10 steps ahead of the other guys, which is what you want!
Some unique date ideas could be, taking her on your favourite hike, take her on a tour around the hidden places around your town or take her to a music concert. Anything that is different and will allow you to stand out from the crowd.
Tell her about your passion
Ladies love hearing about your passions. When guys talk about something they are passionate about, they light up and your whole body language changes. Woman love this and are drawn to this type of natural passion.
When it comes to finding something you are passionate about, it does not need to be work or a career. Although, if that is something that you are passionate about, great! It could be a video game that you have been enjoying playing or a sport that you play with your friends. Basically anything that you love to do and feel a passion towards.
This will help you stand out from the crowd. Speaking from experience men always ask the same questions, what do you do as a job? Where do you live? It’s nice that you guys take an interest in us. Unfortunately when you have 20 guys asking this, it looses it’s spark.
When a guy asks me questions about something he also enlightens me by telling me about things he loves, well that sticks in my mind.
I’m much more likely to remember him and want to see him again. If he can get that passionate about Call Of Duty, how passionate could he become about me?
Be bold and be spontaneous
There is a huge difference between an average, run of the mill date and one that completely wow’s a lady. This time I am not talking about the location of the date, I am talking about how you can wow a lady.
This comes down to you being brave and stepping out of your comfort zone. If you are on a date and you really like the girl, it’s time to take a leap of faith. Playing it cool, isn’t going to get you very far. It’s scary but guys, I know you can do it. You have already got her to go on this date!
Woman like it when a man becomes a leader. So it would work well if you pick where the date is and what you are doing. Take charge of the conversation but don’t be obnoxious or loud, ladies don’t like that. Just gently guide the conversation.
Hold the door open for the lady and pull out her chair. Even offer to take her coat from her. These are all examples of being a leader, taking charge and being bold.
Woman also like a man who has a bad boy side. So be edgy and wear your coolest outfit. Unless of course you are going to a nice restaurant, dress appropriately.

Pay her a compliment about something she has revealed earlier in the conversation. Maybe she mentioned, I have always disliked my legs and then she moves on. Remember that comment and later say, you shouldn’t dislike your legs, I really think they are gorgeous.
She will be so happy that you really listened to what she said and also that you paid her a compliment. Ladies really do love compliments and they will help you stand out in the crowd.
Ask her a really tough question. Something that might challenge her or make her think twice. Ladies love a man with intelligence and not only will this make you look smart but by challenging her, you are creating a very memorable moment.
Say something she would not expect you to say. Maybe you have a wild story from your travels or a job that you did that was a little crazy. She will be fascinated by these stories and taken back. After all, she’s not expecting it from you! She will also be very attracted by how worldly you are. Any man who has travelled instantly stands out from the crowd.
Say a swear word. Now this one is controversial and normally on a date, I would never suggest swearing. If you want to stand out from the crowd though saying a swear word could work! If you are telling a joke or telling an interesting story, just drop in a swear word, where appropriate. It will grab her attention and give you a bit of omph, which she will love!
Be positive and make a lady laugh
There a few ways to a ladies heart and one of them is through laughter. If you were to make me laugh on a date, I would never forget you. Laughing is one of the nicest things to do in the world.
When a man makes you laugh, you suddenly think, if we were in a relationship it would be so fun! You start to imagine what a Saturday night in would be like.
The other way to stand out in a crowd is to be very positive. When you are positive, you will light up the room! The lady will feel blessed to be in your company, your positive rays will shine through.
If you are very positive about everything, a lady will feel like they really want to see you again. Especially over other men. Your date may have been on another date with a man who was rude to the barista, she will definitely never see him again. Where as if you are kind and positive to everyone, she will want to see you over and over again.
